The International Wildlife Museum is a non-profit educational program of Safari Club International Foundation. SCIF funds and manages worldwide programs dedicated to wildlife conservation, outdoor education and humanitarian services.
Founded in 1988, the museum is dedicated to increasing knowledge and appreciation of the diverse wildlife of the world, as well as explaining the role of wildlife management in conservation.
The natural history museum features over 400 species of
mammals, birds and insects from around the globe. These specimens were donated
by government agencies, wildlife rehabilitation centers, captive breeding farms,
zoos and hunters. Some collections are over 100 years old.
