Spertus invites people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the multi-faceted Jewish experience. Through its innovative public programming, exhibitions, collections, research facilities and degree programs, Spertus inspires learning, serves diverse communities and fosters understanding for Jews and people of all faiths locally, regionally and around the world.

Highlights & Collections

The Midwest's premier museum featuring a history of Jewish cultural artifacts. The Zell Holocaust Memorial documents the Holocaust with films, photographs and graphics.

Spertus Museum's permanent exhibit of Judaic art, artifacts and exhibits is the midwest's most comprehensive Judaic collection, with more than 10,000 objects, artifacts and works of art reflecting 5,000 years of Jewish history and culture. Permanent exhibits include the Zell Holocaust Memorial and the children's ARTiFACT Center.

Admission & Directions:

• $5 for adults;
• $3 for children, students and seniors.
• Maximum family rate is $10.
• Fridays are free.
• Thursday evenings from 5 - 8 p.m. are free during the months of July and August.
