Golf has been played at Lahinch for more than 100 years, and the Club has been the home of the South of Ireland Open Championship since 1895. The course measures 6,696 yards off the championship tees. A subtle, natural, challenging links, Lahinch is also famous for its goats, which roam freely on the coastal dunes and are undisputed barometers of the local weather !
