USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park's mission is to restore and preserve the WWII submarine USS Bowfin (SS-287). Bowfin Park's parent organization, the Pacific Fleet Submarine Memorial Association (PFSMA), is a non-profit group that receives no federal
or state funding to assist in its mission.

USS Bowfin Submarine Musuem & Park is home to the historic WWII submarine USS Bowfin (SS-287), also known as the "Pearl Harbor Avenger." This restored WWII submarine is one of only 15 U.S. WWII submarines still in existence today. Vistors can go on
aboard and explore below deck to imagine what life must have been like her USS Bowfin's 80 man crew during war. Adjacent museum explores the intriguing history of submarines, both past and present. New exhibits include a Poseidon C-3 missile which
allows visitors to examine the inner workings of a missile. The Park's Waterfront Memorial stands in tribute to the more than 3,500 submariners who gave the ultimate sacrifice and are now serving "on eternal patrol."
