Highlights & Collections

At the Green Briar Nature Center, you will find a quiet corner of Cape Cod - a sanctuary of peace and beauty in all seasons. Located on the shores of "Smiling Pool" and adjacent to the famous "Biar Patch" of Thornton Burgess' stories, Green Briar offers natural history exhibits, live animals, a spectacular wildflower garden and nature trails through the 57-acre Briar Patch Conservation Area. Visitors may also tour through Green Briar Jam Kitchen, a "living museum" where jams are still made using turn-of-the-century methods. Gift shop offers jams, jellies, relishes and nature-related items. Sales help to support the nature center's educational programs.
