Statement of Purpose:
To provide the the general public an educational, scientific, cultural, and inspirations facility dedicated to the chronology of aerospace science with highlights on the contributions made in the San Diego aerospace community.
Highlights:
The museum has over 65 aircraft on display highlighting the significant periods of aerospace advancement. Included in the collection are replicas of the "Spirit of St. Louis" and the "Wright Flyer."
Also included in the collection are aircraft such as
an A-12 Blackbird, a P-40, a Japanese Zero, a Spad VII, an F-4 Phantom and a MiG 17.
The museum is also home to the International Aerospace Hall of Fame which honors the heroes of aviation and space history.

Non Summer Hours 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (last admission at 4:00 p.m.)
Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (last admission at 5:00 p.m.)
