Statement of Purpose:

The Texas Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization established to celebrate and preserve Texas' sports history. The museum fullfils its mission by 1) recognizing individuals who have made contributions to Texas sports 2) Creating educational exhibits and programs for the public 3) Collecting, researching, conserving and exhibiting memorabilia that has significane to the history of sport in Texas.

Highlights:

"Great Sports Headlines of Texas" is shown every hour in the Tom Landry Theater. Interactive exhibits for children and adults.

Major Collection: The museum cares for the collections of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Texas High School Football Hall of Fame, Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame, Texas Tennis Hall of Fame, Texas Baseball Hall of Fame.

Exhibits:

Texas high school football hall; basket ball hall; tennis hall; baseball hall.

Open from 10-5 Monday - Saturday

Sunday 12-5
