Statement of Purpose:

Dedicated to preserving and interpreting materials relating to Native American history, St. Joseph and the westward expansion, and natural history of the MidWest.

Highlights & Collections:
The museum is housed in a 43 room, gothic sandstone mansion built in 1879.

Exhibits & Special Events:
Exhibits have replaced the furnishings, but walnuit woodwork and several stained glass windows remain.

Hours:

Monday-Saturday: 9-5
Sunday and holidays: 1-5.
Closed Thanksgiving, Dec 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1st.

Admission & Directions:
Limited handicap accessibility.
