The mission of the Wenham Museum is to inspire curiosity, to broaden cultural
understanding and to foster appreciation of the arts.
The Museum educates its public by creatively interpreting a distinguished
doll and toy collection, an extensive costume collection, and three centuries
of family life in a 17th century house. The Museum regularly exhibits the
work of regional artists and artisans.
Mrs. Horton's International Doll Collection - Over 5,000 dolls from which
about 1,000 are displayed on a rotating basis.
Antique toys/Doll's Houses - Including unique Addams Family Dolls' House
Toy Soldiers - Extensive collection of Britains' soldiers, and others, from
the American Revolution through WWI.
Model and Toy Trains - Five operating lay outs of various gauges; Antique
trains and railroad artifacts.
Furnishings, decorative arts and artifacts from the 17th-19th centuries displayed
in the 17th-century Claflin-Richards house.
Genealogical, Photographic and Historical Records of Town of Wenham.
Exhibits:
Mrs. Horton's International Doll COllection - Permanent, rotating display
of approximately 1,000 dolls of the 5,000 piece collection.
Train Room - Five operating lay-outs of various gauges; Antique trains and
railroad artifacts; Railroad experts available to answer your questions on
model trains and railroading.
Play & LEarn Room - Hands-on children's interactive space with changing
creative learning/play activities.
Claflin-Richards House - Guided tour through one of North Shore's oldest
homes interprets three centuries of family life.

M-F: 11-4; Sa: 1-4; Su: 2-5.
Route 128 North towards Gloucester. Take exit 20-A and follow Route 1A north
for 2.3 miles. Museum is on the right next to Wenham Town Hall.

Adults $4, Seniors $3.50, Children 3 and up $2. Group rates available.
