To highlight the contributions of Nordic immigrants and their descendants in the development of the Pacific Northwest and to serve as a cross-cultural bridge among peoples of the Nordic countries and the United States.

Gives a lively, authentic interpretation of American history. The "Dream of America" takes you on the actual journey from the old country on a ship across the Atlantic Ocean to Ellis Island. From Ellis Island you continue into New York and travel west on to the Pacific Northwest. Fun, educational and family friendly exhibits.
