Statement of Purpose
Preserve and present the history of small-town railroading through intrepretation of rolling stock, artifacts, photographs and paper items.
Highlights & Collections
Silver Dome, the first dome passenger car built in the US. Variety of first generation diesel locomotives.
The ability to actually enter most of the rolling stock to view the inner workings and displays.
Private railroad collection of Theodore and Sarah Church, said to be one of the finest private collections.
Model of the "Sandusky" locomotive of the Mad River & Lake Erie Railroad on loan from the Pangborn collection of the B&O Museum in Baltimore.
Exhibits & Special Events
Various rail tours throughout the year from weekends to two week vacations.
