Statement of Purpose:

Founded in 1953, the Museum is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to its mission to collect, preserve and share the history of Santa Catalina Island.

Highlights & Collections:

We are a cultural heritage museum,highlighting the places people and events of Catalina Islands recorded history.


Our most popular exhibits; The Steamship Exhibit is aboutthe amazing evolution of travels to and from the Island. Our new SeaPlane Exhibt takes you back to the days when the Seaplanes were at their prime, filled with SeaPlane membarabla and history.
