Our Mission is to provide innovative participatory museum exhibits, programs and resources which encourage curiosity, creativity, appreciation, and learning for all children, their families and those who work with children.
The Austin Children's Musuem is a private, non-profit organization that receives funding from the City of Austin Arts Commission, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and various foundations, businesses and individuals. The Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency that fosters innovation, leadership and a lifetime of learning, supports the Austin Children's Musuem.
Global Cityworks which include a Health Clinic, Diner, Grocery & Library; Bat Bridge, Little Theater, Infant-Toddler Playscape
Based on themes of how different people live and everyday science and technology. Rentals available.
Admission is $4.50 per person. Children under 24 months are
free.
Wednesday from 5-8pm is Community Night and the Museum stays open late
