Exhibits:

Holidays at the Allis ~ The 1911 English Allis mansion will herald newly designed Tudor-style decorations created by the Charles Allis/Villa Terrace Renaissance Garden Club.  Inspired by English Christmases past, the lavish period decorations will include greens, ivy, mistletoe, and colorful ribbons.  A traditional favorite, The Angel Tree, will be showered with over 175, turn-of-the-century to modern angelic faces in paraffin, porcelain, felt and cloth.

Holidays at the Villa ~ Elegantly decorated for the Holidays, the Italian Renaissance-style Villa Terrace is festooned with evergreens, wreaths and topiary inspired by della Robbia in the authentic Roman style.  Graceful holiday wrappings harmonize throughout the mansion, from the Great Hall adorned with cypresses bathed in fruit and angels, to garlands of della Robbia--intertwined citrus fruits (lemons and limes) and apples—also created by the Garden Club.

The Homes for the Holidays Season Pass includes admission to The Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion featuring A Beer Baron’s Christmas, an annual Victorian holiday celebration exploring the circa 1890s festivities of the Pabst, Lemp, Uihlein, Miller and Blatz families.
