Displays of marine fossils from the Kansas Interior Seaway of 80-100 million
years ago.

Highlights & Collections
Features a giant walk-through diorama from the Cretaceous Period (last age of Dinosaurs) with life-sized animals in realistic environments.
The Discovery Room features hands-on specimens and activities for kids of all ages.

Located in Hays, Kansas in west-central part of the state.
Hays is along I-70, about 5 hours from Denver and Kansas City.
From I-70, take the main Hays exit (#159) and go south for 1.7 miles to 27th Street. Turn east and go 1 mile to Sternberg Drive.
The museum is located in a large Dome building that is visable from the interstate.
