Statement of Purpose
Hands-on science museum designed to stimulate an interest in science and technology while improving the quality of science education through dynamic hands-on science learning, interactive participatory exhibits and outreach programs for people of all ages, especially children, in the eastern North Carolina region.
Highlights & Collections
At Imagination Station you can race a cheetah in the wild, walk through a tropical rain forest, drive a robot through the canyons of Mars, launch a rocket, hear a whisper from 50 feet away, and lift 100 pounds with one hand. We have over 200 exhibits which allow you to experience the wonder of science. We even have an exhibit area especially designed for children under 6. Daily live science programs are offered also.
