Restored and reconstructed historic buildings, explained by costumed interpreters, in the 70-acre historic district surrounded by modern Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Shops, restaurants, a working bakery and daily demonstrations of late eighteenth and early nineteenth century life.
Buildings contain many original items maintained from the era of the original Salem.
