experience the excitement of science.

Highlights & Collections
The
Sciencenter inspires
excitement for science through interactive exhibits and programs
that engage,
educate and empower. The hands-on museum offers visitors of all
ages more than
250 exhibits, educational programs, a gift shop, an outdoor
science park and a
seasonal miniature golf course.
Meet live sea stars, urchins and hermit crabs during touch tank
hours (see web
site or call for details), experiment with science discovery kits,
visit
planets and stars, see the constellations in our local night sky
with the “Mars
and Stars” exhibition, and connect with your inner artist at the
Reinvention
Station. Journey through the solar system on the Sagan Planet Walk
with a free
audio tour featuring Bill Nye, The Science Guy.

The Sciencenter
is located at
601 1st Street, Ithaca, NY 14850.
Take
Third Street south from NYS Route 13 (look for the signs).
Turn left
immediately onto Franklin Street
At times the left turn onto Franklin Street
is too
congested. Instead, stay on 3rd Street for one additional block
and turn left
onto Adams Street. Turn left again at the stop sign onto First
Street - proceed
one block.
The
Sciencenter
is at the corner of 1st and Franklin Streets.
